The quantity of imported rice worth "89.3 billion FCFA", represents "31.1% of food products" imported, the report points out. According to the document, imported food products are essentially made up of rice, "fish (25.1%), soft wheat (9.5%)"

Invoices for the purchase of goods abroad are mainly composed of consumer goods (48.7%), followed by intermediate goods (32.9%) and capital goods (18.3%).

Food products represent "36.9%" of consumer goods. For a quantity of 918,056 tons, food products were imported at a value of 287 billion FCFA.
