Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, 27 March (Infosplusgabon) - The Delegation of the European Union to Burkina
Faso informed on Friday that the EU will contribute 39 billion FCFA to the fight against the coronavirus in
Africa.
“In the Covid-19 context, the EU will contribute 60 million euros, i.e. almost 39 billion euros.
FCFA, to support the response in Africa, including 05 million euros, or 3.2 billion FCFA, for
the Pasteur Institute of Dakar", according to the press release received on Friday.
It is recalled that the European Union already supports the health systems of 13 African countries, including Burkina
Faso, up to 1.1 billion euros, or more than 721 billion FCFA.
