According to a press release, the modalities of this exceptional device were decided as a result
exchanges with the authorities of the Bceao and the Ministries of Finance and Budget and Economy, of the

According to the document, Apbefs recalls that the relationship between the bank and its client is governed by
conventions, standards, regulations and principles of security and confidentiality, without any
unauthorized third-party interference.
Apbefs adds that requests for postponement will be processed on the basis of formal requests
interested and eligible customers; no request on forms whose authenticity is not verifiable
will only be processed.
It also points out that the Bceao has set up a platform to monitor rejected applications for
mediation and facilitation.
Each bank, it is specified, will set up for its customers concerned, the procedure of reception and
processing of applications within express deadlines.
