During a handover ceremony presided over on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Dimbokro, the Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF) gave activists from the Houphouëtist Rally for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) five tons of sugar and 10 tons of rice.

The Dimbokro departmental secretary, Yao Kouadio Séraphin handed over the supplies to members of the RHDP in the presence of the MEF Chief of Staff, Gondo Diomandé, and numerous local officials of the ruling party. According to him, the minister's gift aims to allow activists to fast under good conditions during the month of Ramadan. For him, “the month of Ramadan is the month of prayers, blessings, abstinence but also and above all the month of solidarity, generosity and sharing.”
