A la fin de la séance de cotation du jeudi 30 mars 2023, la Market capitalization of the bond market of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) has returned to Increase, after several days of drops.

Depuis le 16 mars dernier, la bond market capitalization has begun to fall with a level of capitalization of 10 151,075 billion FCFA. Elle a ainsi enregistré une baisse de 82.948 billion FCFA from 16 to 29 March. At the end of the trading day on March 30, market capitalization increased by 5.819 billion FCFA, from 10068.127 billion FCFA the day before to 10,073.946 billion FCFA. The value of transactions maintained the one billion mark and stood at 1.050 billion FCFA compared with 1.305 billion FCFA the day before.

The capitalization of the equity markets fell by 31.31 billion, to 7491.702 billion FCFA compared to 7523.012 billion FCFA on March 29, 2023. As for the indices, they are still in the red with a more pronounced fall: the BRVM Prestige index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment), recorded the largest fall with 1.09% to 103.99 points compared with 105.14 points the day before. The composite index (the general stock market index) fell by 0.42% to 201.38 points compared with 202.22 points the day before. And the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) fell by 0.50% to 101.02 points compared with 101.53 points on March 29, 2023.

As for the top 5 largest price increases, it is occupied respectively by Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.25% to 1,445 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.44% to 775 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.26% to 1,000 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.64% at 790 FCFA) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.90% at 1,090 FCFA) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.90% at 1 090 FCFA) 70 FCFA).
