The director of fixed and mobile market regulation at ARCEP, Salamata Rouamba announced that to reduce prices in the UEMOA region, a telecommunications regulatory committee has been set up. The team took it upon itself to do a comparative study of retail rates in this community. According to him, it is necessary to do a study, assess the costs and take the relevant costs for a reduction in retail rates. According to her, this study is part of the regulatory authority's program of activities for 2023.
