The police rescued 58 people who were taken hostage in the Udulu forest. According to Josephine Adeh, a spokeswoman, one of them “was unfortunately injured during the operation and died on the spot... 58 other people were treated in a hospital.” According to him, the rescue operation was carried out with other security organizations and hunters from several local communities.
