Benin Terminal and AGL Benin, subsidiaries of AGL (Africa Global Logistics), participated in the first edition of the Hinterland Port Days. This first edition was held from 9 to 10 May in Niamey, Niger

The first edition of the Hinterland Port Days brought together major actors from the port communities of Benin and Niger, as well as economic actors from the hinterland, especially from Mali, Burkina-Faso and other users of the Port of Cotonou. The objective of this event, organized on the initiative of the Autonomous Port of Cotonou (PAC), is to promote trade and meet the challenges of cross-border trade. The discussions focused on the theme “cross-border trade in the face of port competitiveness”.

It was an opportunity to highlight the issues related to the performance of the Port of Cotonou and to review relations with its partners. Benin Terminal, operator of the Container Terminal at the Port of Cotonou, and AGL Benin, a leading player in logistics in Benin, highlighted their innovative solutions for the transport of heavy and oversized parcels from the Port of Cotonou to any city in Niger and the
