The African Digital Financial Inclusion Facility, managed by the African Development Bank, has granted a $650,000 grant to Chad. The objective is to help extend digital services to women and young entrepreneurs in the country.

The African Bank's Digital Financial Inclusion Facility (ADFI) has signed a $650,000 grant agreement with the Government of Chad to provide innovative digital financial and non-financial services to women and young people. This funding will make it possible to advance the Microfinance Development Support Project in Support of Women and Youth Entrepreneurship, which aims to strengthen women's economic empowerment and youth entrepreneurship in rural areas of Chad

The project has three components: improving the supply of microfinance services and developing digital finance, stimulating demand for financial services, and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in rural areas of Chad.
