At the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, the Government of Benin authorized the approval of five companies under the Investment Code.

Five companies operating in various sectors have received their approval under the Investment Code in the Republic of Benin. Three are eligible under regime B. These are ORANA SA, for its project to set up an orange and pineapple concentrate production plant in Za-Kpota, commune of Za-Kpota; SOCIETE FINANCIERE DU GOLFE SARL, for its project to build and operate a hotel in Sogbo-Aliho, in the commune of Abomey, and PREMIUM RICE MILL INDUSTRIES SARL, for the installation of two rice mills including one in the commune of Glazoué and the other in that of Malanville.

EcoCycle SAS is admitted to regime A, for its project to manufacture packaging for table eggs in the Sèmé-Podji industrial zone. The SOCIETE DES CIMENTS DU BENIN SA is registered under regime C for the construction and operation of a new cement manufacturing plant by grinding clinker in the Sèmé-Podji industrial zone
