In Guinea, the former director general of the Guinean Advertising Office (OGP), Paul Moussa Diawara and his DAAF Inza Bayo, were sentenced by CRIEF on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 to 5 years in prison and to payment of 50 million GNF each. They are being prosecuted for embezzlement of public funds and complicity in the amount of 39 billion

The President of the Court Noël Koulemou delivered his decision as follows: “The Court confirms the judgment undertaken by the Kaloum Court in 2019 and awards a warrant of arrest against Paul Moussa Diawara and Inza Bayo. ”. It was in April 2019 that the Kaloum Court of First Instance (TPI) sentenced Paul Moussa Diawara and Inza Bayo to 5 years in prison and to pay 50 million to the detriment of the Guinean State

They were also ordered to reimburse the sum of 39 billion 679 million 27 thousand 698 Guinean francs, in respect of the principal and to pay the sum of 9 billion 479 million 956 thousand 423 Guinean francs, in respect of damages and their property seized.
