Data from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) released by the US International Energy Agency (EIA) revealed that crude oil sales brought $11 billion in revenue to Nigeria in the first half of 2023. The revenue represents a significant decrease compared to the $34 billion earned in the same period last year. For the same period in 2024, these revenues are expected to exceed those of 2023.
