The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group recently approved the 2023-2028 Country Strategy Paper (CSP) for Cameroon. The document published on July 20, 2023 provides for the construction of infrastructures that promote the de-isolation of production areas and the installation of agro-industrial companies.

The 2023-2028 DSP focuses on two priority areas. These are the development of infrastructures for the promotion of agribusiness and; the strengthening of human capital and governance, with a view to improving the institutional and business framework. Priority is given to the Far North, North-West, South-West and Eastern regions, in order to promote faster local development while aiming at regional integration. In addition, the private sector has been identified as a key player in projects financed by the Bank, with a view to supporting the government's efforts.
