At 01:26 GMT, spot gold was up 0.2% at $1,948.24 per ounce. It reached its lowest level since July 12 and finished down 1.4% in the last session. Since the start of the week, gold has fallen by 0.5% and is heading for its biggest weekly fall since June 23. U.S. gold futures rose 0.1% to $1,947.30
per ounce.For other precious metals, silver stabilized at $24.14, platinum at $936.33, and palladium at $1,241.28, an increase of 0.1%.
