L' National Agency for Statistics and Demography reported that the downward trend of “building materials” est reduced by the increase in the prices of waterproofing materials (+0.6%), materials for coating walls and floors (+0.4%) and those for painting (+0.3%). Prices fell slightly by 0.1% compared to the corresponding period in 2022. The reduction in the prices of materials for electrical works (-1.6%) quarterly was consecutive to that of the price of VGV cables (-4.7%). Prices for plumbing and sanitary materials fell by 0.1%, following the fall in prices for plastic pipes (-7.6%).
