A statement made public on Wednesday, September 13, said that African countries will provide financing from the Islamic Development Bank.

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will finance Mauritania with $50 million to improve education. Other countries, such as Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan and Togo, have also received funding for their various development projects, including transport, education, health and energy. An amount of 600 million dollars will be granted to these African countries. According to the press release, “through this financing, the IDB intends to contribute to the development programs of member countries and improve the living conditions of the populations, in accordance with the strategic objectives and the renewed and constant commitment of the IDB Group to support its member countries in their quest for prosperity and resilience, especially in these difficult times”.
