In the Joliba Fund I fund, managed by the private equity firm Joliba Capital, based in Abidjan, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) announced an equity investment of up to 15 million euros.

Les 15 million euros granted by the IFC will be used to promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in West and Central Africa, which are among the capital markets- the most neglected investments in the world. The contribution is characterized by a participation of 7.5 million euros from its SME Ventures assistance program for SMEs. To this participation is added a budget of 7.5 million euros from the Mixed Finance Mechanism of the Private Sector Promotion Window of the International Development Association (IDA). Its aim is to reduce the risks associated with investments in low-income countries.
