in 2014.Star Oil, through its Senegalese subsidiary S.O.S Pétroles, has reached an agreement with Omega PETROLEUM to acquire its distribution network. The two partners finalized the transaction, resulting in the transfer of 17 service stations from Omega PETROLEUM to Star Oil, after extensive discussions. In fact, this acquisition marks a significant step in Star Oil's expansion into the West African hydrocarbon market, after its success in Niger in May 2022 and in Chad last September. This strategic acquisition strengthens Star Oil's position on the West African oil market and demonstrates its desire to become a key player in the region
