The Lomé Tokoin Airport Corporation in collaboration with the UEMOA Commission organized a training workshop for civil aviation experts and technical managers from the member countries of the Union from 23 to 27 October 2023. Activities in progress since yesterday.

The training organized by SALT is based on the development of a master plan for aerodromes and airport infrastructures. The training is in line with the new requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif""> (ICAO) according to the Director General SALT oral, Colonel Dimini Allahari. This training course will enable participants to master the principles of planning and the development of short, medium and long-term forecasts concerning air operations, economic factors and other data that are involved in the development of mass plans and the evaluation of the capacity of facilities and services. For the Colonel, “master plans are intended to support the modernization of existing aerodromes regardless of their size, complexity or role. They provide information on the types of improvements to be made progressively.”
