Visa plans to invest $1 billion by 2027 in financial services in Africa to advance the continent's economy and drive inclusive growth. The multinational will support entrepreneurs and start-ups in Fintech in Africa, offering training, networking, technology and investment opportunities to up to 40 entities every year. Visa intends to further support the growth of FinTechs by investing capital in selected participating businesses, while accelerating their commercial launch through access to Visa's technology and capabilities
