Le lundi 21 novembre 2023, les gouvernements tchadien et camerounais ont procédé au lancement officiel of the Cameroon and Chad Electrical Networks Interconnection Project (Pirect) in Yaoundé.

The 2nd component will allow Cameroon to become an electricity exporter, by supplying 100 MW to Chad.
