Dakar Mobility is investing in the deployment of Dakar's future electric bus network, which is preparing to open to the public in early 2024. The service raised all the 135 million euros needed for the deployment.

It was on November 28 that the last electric bus, for a total fleet of 121 vehicles, was officially received in Dakar. The system will connect the Petersen bus station, located in Dakar Plateau, to the Guédiawaye prefecture in the northern suburbs, with the ultimate goal of 300,000 travelers per day.
