The Bitcoin price calmed down on November 29, 2023, with CME BTC futures data showing traders are betting on a $40,000 rally.

The current open interest in CME's Bitcoin futures is $4.35 billion, the highest since November 2021, when Bitcoin reached its all-time high of $69,000. The impressive 125% increase in open interest on CME's BTC futures, compared to $1.93 billion in mid-October, is undoubtedly related to the anticipation of approval by a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on a spot basis. To avoid the high costs associated with futures contracts, institutional investors have several options. For example, they could opt for CME Bitcoin options, which require less capital and offer long-term exposure to similar leverage

.

Le 28 novembre, la prime annualisée des contrats à terme CME Bitcoin has passed from 15% to 34%, finally stabilizing at 23% at the end of the day.
