Démarrée depuis le 30 novembre 2023, la 28th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 28) received the presence of the West African Development Bank (BOAD), which outlines the actions undertaken ; es in the field of climate change during a press conference taking place this Monday, December 4, in Dubai. The event will end on December 12.

A press release from BOAD mentioned that “in view of the importance of this annual climate ecosystem meeting, the Bank's delegation is led by Mr. Serge Ekue, its president. He will speak during a press conference on 4 December 2023, in particular to present the actions undertaken by the institution and the prospects and levers for the coming years.” On the COP,the BOAD style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif""> is installed in pavilion 32 located in zone B3 of the Blue Zone. It will host more than thirty activities, signing ceremonies with the institution's partners as well as the launch of the “Assiganmé” marketplace and the Climate Studies Fund. The BOAD is committed based on “the significant financing needs and the urgent nature of the actions to be taken in the fight against climate change and its harmful effects.”
