A press release from the World Bank announces that the institution is providing $300 million in budgetary support to Côte d'Ivoire. Funding that will be used to support the country's economic growth.

The funding granted to Côte d'Ivoire will help promote reforms focused on stimulation, competition in critical sectors, promotion of the sustainable use of natural resources, and enlargement access to health and education services. According to the communiqué, this funding, aligned with the National Development Plan 2021-2025, will primarily serve to promote key reforms that will help the country reach its goal of becoming an upper middle income economy by 2030
