In order to meet the need for investment in order to strengthen its fiber optic network and operationalize its 5G license, Sonatel plans to raise an amount of 75 billion CFA francs on the regional market.

Sonatel intends to take better advantage of the potentially offering sub-regional market by investing more in it. The company has thus launched a securitization operation for these claims in Dakar, in order to raise funds of 75 billion CFA francs. Through this transaction, Sonatel seeks to exchange its claims in the form of negotiable securities called bonds. To carry out this operation, Sonatel has mandated the consortium composed of Invictus Capital & Finance as a Management and Intermediation Company, and KF Securitization as the Mutual Fund Management Company for the securitization of claims
