The investment granted by the World Bank is part of the West Africa Regional Digital Integration Program and concerns Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania and the Gambia. The aim will be to advance the integration of digital markets in West Africa through the increase of low-cost Internet access and the use of broadband. It also aims to strengthen the foundations of digital financial services and to extend the Internet.
