Mathias Kadiogo, the Director General of Customs, said that the purpose of the eDouanes platform is “to contribute to the financial inclusion of users of the customs administration in Burkina Faso. This innovation is part of the dynamic of change in customs services.”

For his part, the Minister in charge of Finance, Aboubacar Nacanabo indicated that this platform aims to make the Department of Economy and Finance even more efficient and resilient in order to offer more facilities and simplicity to users.
