On this evening of Thursday, December 28, 2023, the Tenneville municipal council plans to study the 2024 budget with some 6 million investments announced.

The city officials of Tenneville will look at the budgets for fiscal year 2024. Usually, the Commune will rely on an envelope of 7 million (with an annual bonus of €3,549). According to alderman Walter Joris, “we have to deal with the increase in spending on transfers (police, firefighters). The aid to the CPAS is €400,000 (308,000 in previous years, except last year when there was an increase to €480,000)”. “We are also making a responsibility contribution for pensions at the rate of 332,000 euros. It is the good management of previous years that makes it possible to balance this budget. It should also be noted that, despite investments, our debt ratio has remained stable since the legislature,” he notified.
