Le jeudi dernier, le directeur général de la comptabilité publique et du trésor ( DGCPT), Cheikh Tidiane Diop said that Senegal has made progress in the financing of ESG types (environmental, social and governance). For this financing, the country has issued bonds of the order of 295 billion CFA francs from which it expects resources for the year 2024

The DGCPT indicated that Senegal has made progress in ESG financing in the African region and already has an ESG framework that has been approved and validated by international institutions. According to the director, a title from the year 2023, it was expected, in terms of resource mobilization, a payment of two thousand six hundred forty-two billion CFA francs to cover the budget deficit and the financing of public policies
