Fintech Slice is a platform that offers physical and virtual credit cards for students and employed professionals, drawing most of its income from interest income received on wallet loans. The company more than doubled its expenses to Rs 1,273 crore in fiscal year 23, compared to the previous fiscal year. The cost of employee benefits increased nearly threefold, to Rs 287 crore in fiscal year 23, up from Rs 99 crore in fiscal year 22. The company also recorded non-performing assets worth Rs 256 crore in respect of the loss on financial assets, loans and advances in fiscal year 23.

However, its losses increased by more than 50% to Rs 406 crore in fiscal year 23, compared to Rs 254 crore it had suffered in fiscal year 22.
