In Burkina Faso, the World Bank has made available a pool of 3.6 billion dollars to finance 29 projects. The targeted areas include education, health and agriculture.

At the end of an audience with the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Apollinaire Joachim Kyélem de Tambèla, Clara Ana De Sousa, Director of Operations of the World Bank for Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Chad, reaffirmed the World Bank's commitment to supporting Burkina Faso in its projects. To this end, she announced that the financial institution is supporting 29 projects for a total of 3.6 billion dollars.

For the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, the needs of his country are mainly in the field of infrastructure, agriculture and livestock, the education sector, and primarily in the fight against terrorism.
