Le mercredi 24 janvier dernier s' est tenu in Abidjan, a workshop for reflection and work initiated by Soci& Extent of Guarantees to Small and Medium Enterprises (SGPME) on financing tools in the subsector vivier

The workshop initiated by the SGPME aims to understand the functioning of the food sub-sector in Côte d'Ivoire. The objective of this workshop was to understand the needs and challenges of the food sub-sector and to lay the foundations for strategic partnerships and innovative financial solutions. Through this workshop, a financial institution offering banking guarantees, offers financial services adapted for a considerable impact on the Ivorian economy. In, the head of the organizing structure, presented the Partial Portfolio Guarantee (GPP) by outlining its functionalities, prerequisites and advantages, in particular the reduction of risks. According to Laetitia Koffi, the GPP acts as a risk-sharing instrument between the fund and partner financial institutions to finance the activities of actors in the food sub-sector. This fund is managed by the SGPME through a framework agreement with the State of Côte d'Ivoire. This presentation highlighted the commitment of her organization to support financial institutions in their approach to financing actors in the food sector in Côte d'Ivoire
