Oyass Capital is a 35 billion CFA franc fund designed to facilitate access to finance for Senegalese SMEs and to stimulate economic growth. It was launched on Tuesday 30 January in Dakar. Selon the administrator of FONSIS, Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr, “with an initial size of 35 billion FCFA at the first 'closing' [final process in concluding a transaction], Oyass Capital will reach a target size of 50 billion FCFA at the second 'closing'”.
