Le mercredi 31 janvier dernier à N'Djamena, the top managers of the two banking groups, Coris and Société Générale, organized a ceremony of closing of the takeover of the Société Générale subsidiary in Chad (SGT). This ceremony marks the successful end of the process begun in June 2023, following the announcement of the signing of the Transfer Agreement for this subsidiary.

The Pan-African Banking Group Coris, after having obtained the release of the regulator, at the end of the process, takes over, in its existing network, all of Société Générale's activities in Chad, which becomes “Coris Bank International Chad”. According to the President of the Coris Group, Idrissa NASSA, “The finalization of this process in record time gives the Coris Group the operationalization of its Coris Bank International brand in Chad and its official entry into Central Africa. It is a new era to do banking differently in the CEMAC zone. ” The Coris Group is committed to maintaining and improving the high standards of banking services already offered to customers
