Guinean Justice Minister Alphonse Charles Wright ordered the Attorney General of the Conakry Court of Appeal and the Special Prosecutor of the Court for the Suppression of Economic and Financial Offences (CRIEF) to investigate state contracts awarded since September 5, 2021. He said that “it is important at this level that light be shed on the awarding of the various contracts. We also called on the prosecutors to open a judicial investigation into the awarding or awarding of any State contract throughout the country. All the contracts that have been awarded since September 5, 2021 until now, we want to know the light on this to determine the responsibility.”
