The Culture Minister of and From La Francophonie, Françoise Remarck said that her Foreign Affairs counterpart is in favor of the organization of ECOFEST, an event around culture with renowned cultural actors , in Côte d'Ivoire to use all the infrastructures and legacies of the CAN. According to him, ECOFEST is an opportunity to demonstrate that the idea of “the CEDEAO of the populations and the UEMOA of the populations” is also a reality through culture. Beyond the question of culture, the dimension given to this event is integration, social cohesion, the construction of shared common space and also support the cultural economy, which will play an important role in the GDP of States.
