Ce jeudi, le dollar américain s' est replié, atteignant its lowest level in one month against the yen. Traders are focused on the idea that American interest rates are likely to fall this year, even after a few surprises about inflation.

The dollar hit its lowest level in one month, at 148.94, against the yen at the start of Asian trading on Thursday. It touched a three-week low of 4.5100% in the previous session. All of this left the greenback near a one-month low against a basket of currencies. The dollar index fell by 0.04% to 103.30. The Canadian dollar was little changed at 1.3518 per US dollar after the Bank of Canada (BoC) maintained its key overnight interest rate on Wednesday

On the other hand, the New Zealand dollar increased by 0.05% to $0.6133, while the Australian dollar increased by 0.11% to $0.6572.
