The mobile hearings of the High Military Court are continuing on the case of embezzlement and attempted corruption of the FARDC General Inspectorate (IG) by certain army officers based in North Kivu.

The High Court confronted the three intelligence officers present at the stand on Tuesday, March 26. He is the director in charge of administration and two captains, all from the 34th military region. They were confronted with the main defendant , Lt. Colonel Katengu Jerry. The latter denied the authenticity of the discharge containing the sum of fifteen million francs, before later recognizing his signature on the act of recognition by which this money was given to the delegation from Kinshasa. For their part, the two captains declared in their statements before the High Court that they know nothing about the origin of this problem money even though they were fully cited as intermediaries in the delivery of this sum to the IG delegation
