On Friday, April 12, the Nigerian banking group indicated that it is considering a capital increase of up to 750 million dollars to meet the new minimum capital requirements imposed by the Central Bank.

The capital increase announced by Guaranty Trust Holding should be approved by the group's shareholders at a general meeting scheduled for May 9.
