Hydrocarbon production is expected to be stable, in excess of 2.45 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. But the sale of Canadian assets took place during the fourth quarter of 2023, driven by the increase in LNG production and the start-ups of Mero 2 in Brazil and Akpo West in Nigeria. TotalEnergies indicated that its European refining margin indicator grew sequentially to $71.7 per ton in the first quarter of 2024, against $52.6 in the fourth quarter of 2023.
