On Saturday, April 20, the secretary general of the National Trade Union of Burkina Faso Traders (SYNATCOMB) Roch Donatien Nagalo officially launched the activities of the Caisse d'Épargne et de Financement du Secteur Informal (CEF-SI).

The members of the National Trade Union of Traders of Burkina (SYNATCOMB) have set up the savings and financing bank for the informal sector. The main objective of this initiative is to effectively and efficiently support all members of the informal sector in acquiring a loan to boost their activities. According to the secretary general of SYNATCOMB, Roch Donatien Nagalo, “the establishment of this structure aims to respond in a small way to the concern of actors in the chain of our economy who are struggling to find ways to finance their project. and is part of a vision of inclusive development”.

The secretary general of SYNATCOMB informed that the newborn in the microfinance world that is being inaugurated complements the other microfinances already present in order to give a chance to those who in one way or another feel excluded from the financing system present on the market.
