At the end of the first quarter of 2024, the management of the Hygienic Articles Company (SAH) announced a 4.8% increase in its turnover compared to the first quarter of 2023.

SAH activity indicators indicate a turnover of 134 million dinars (MD) against 128 MD at March 31, 2023. Most of this turnover is generated at the local level with 106.215 MD against 27,400 MD for export. For its part, valued production increased by 6%, from 134 MD on March 31, 2023 to 142 MD a year later. While the investment made jumped by more than 270%, standing at 5,804 MD against 1,567 MD in the first quarter of 2023

The turnover generated from exports was largely dominated by sales made on the Libyan market, representing 87.6% of the total export figure during the first quarter of 2024.
