The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, rang the bell to open the markets on the London Stock Exchange on Friday, on the sidelines of her participation in the seventh edition of the Morocco Capital Markets Days (MCMD).

This traditional ceremony was an opportunity for Ms. Fettah and the CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Julia Hoggett, to highlight the 10-year-old partnership between the Casablanca Stock Exchange and its London counterpart, as well as the favorable macroeconomic environment enjoyed by Morocco, thanks to the reforms launched by Her Majesty & King Mohammed VI

In the same vein, the president of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority, Nezha Hayat, indicated that the capital market today offers a wide range of solutions to meet the financing and investment needs of various economic actors.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, Kamal Mokdad, noted that the 2024 edition of MCMD is a “very great success”, focusing on its theme, which focuses on Investment Funds and the launch of the Mohammed VI Fund, as well as the fruitful bilateral meetings that have were organized as part of this event.
