The Emirati conglomerate International Holding Company (IHC) plans to acquire mining concessions in several African countries for one billion dollars in 2024.

The Emirati conglomerate International Holding Company (IHC) plans to acquire mining assets in several African countries, such as Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia for one billion dollars and Zambia for $1 billion in 2024 through its subsidiary International Resources Holding (IRH). According to the managing director of IHC, Syed Basar Shueb, “IRH has already signed joint venture agreements for the extraction of iron ore at two sites in Angola, Kassala Kitungo and Munenga. He is also conducting advanced talks for the extraction of nickel in Burundi as well as various metals in Tanzania and Kenya.”
