Africa's global bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, was named the best regional bank in West Africa at the prestigious African Banker Awards 2024 ceremony. The annual African Banker Awards ceremony, organized by African Banker magazine, took place last Tuesday at the JW Marriott Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank

Receiving the awards on behalf of the bank, the managing director of UBA Kenya, Mary Mulili, reiterated the importance of this award as part of the bank's commitment to its customers and partners. “We are honored to be considered the best regional bank in West Africa. The award ceremony saw the participation of more than 300 personalities from the banking and financial world on the continent. The fact that UBA has been recognized as the best regional bank in West Africa is an important milestone, especially as the bank is celebrating 75 years of existence, keeping its promises and consolidating its heritage as a leading bank for Africa
