On 5 June last year, Many Peaks Minerals announced a fundraising of 5.2 million Australian dollars ($3.46 million) through an equity investment in Côte d'Ivoire.

Ivory Coast has enjoyed growing interest from mining companies in recent years. This means raising funds for exploration, especially gold.
