Le mardi dernier, la commission européenne a levé additional 6 billion euros as part of its sixth syndicated transaction, issuing a new bond that is due on October 4, 2039, issued at a rate of 3.477%. The transaction proceeds should be used to fund EU policy and action programmes. The Commission has now released €69 billion out of its €75 billion financing target for the first half of 2024
