The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) has published statistics highlighting the three main countries providing net direct investment flows to Benin in 2022.

China, Togo and Lebanon are the countries mentioned in the BCEAO statistics. In 2022, Togo was the second largest provider of net foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to its neighbor, Benin. The three countries mentioned above were followed in order by Burkina Faso, India, Morocco, Brazil, Congo and Switzerland. Net FDI flow represents the difference between foreign direct investment entering a country and outgoing direct investment going to the same country
