At the 64th biannual meeting of the SADC Exchanges Committee (CoSSE) held on 18 June 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa, the Managing Director of the Financial Securities Exchange (FINSEC), Collen Tapfumaneyi, was appointed President of CoSSE.

TapFumaneyi succeeds Thapelo Tsheole, former CEO of the Botswana Stock Exchange, who has led CoSSE with distinction for the past seven years. Tapfumaneyi has extensive experience in capital and commodity markets in East, West, and Southern Africa as well as South Asia. He has been instrumental in the innovation, automation, and financial inclusion of capital markets and has worked closely with most stock and commodity exchanges across the continent.

About CoSse

La CoSSE was created in 1997 and is a collective organization bringing together the various exchanges in the SADC region. It is composed of 14 SADC stock exchanges, operating in 13 SADC member states. The members of CoSSE are the Angola Stock Exchange (BODIVA), the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), the Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM), the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), the Eswatini Stock Exchange (ESE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE), the Stock Exchange of Botswana (BSE) (JSE), Bourse de Lusaka (LuSE), Bourse des Seychelles (MERJ), Bourse du Malawi (MSE), Bourse de Maseru Securities (MSM), Bourse de Namibie (NSX), Bourse de Maurice (SEM) et la Zimbabwe Stock Exchange
